1. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting, authorizing, scheduling, or purchasing services from Paws’d In Time Animal Cremation Services LLC (“Paws’d In Time,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms apply to all services provided, whether arranged online, in person, by telephone, or through a veterinary provider.
2. Scope of Services
Paws’d In Time provides animal cremation services and related aftercare services, including but not limited to:
Private cremation
Communal cremation
Pickup and delivery services
Return of cremated remains (when applicable)
Memorial products and services
All services are provided in accordance with industry standards and applicable laws.
3. Authorization & Ownership
By submitting an authorization, placing an order, or otherwise engaging our services, you represent and warrant that:
You are the lawful owner of the animal, or
You are the authorized agent of the lawful owner
You have full legal authority to authorize cremation and final disposition of the animal’s remains
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paws’d In Time, its owner, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims arising from disputes over ownership or authority.
4. Cremation Process & Identification
Every reasonable effort is made to maintain accurate identification throughout the cremation process. Due to the inherent nature of cremation services, the Company does not guarantee outcomes beyond standard industry practices.
Cremation selections (private or communal) are final once the process has begun and cannot be altered.
5. Personal Property
Personal items such as collars, tags, bedding, or toys may be removed prior to cremation. The Company is not responsible for loss, damage, or destruction of personal property unless explicitly agreed to in writing.
6. Return and Disposition of Remains
For private cremations, cremated remains must be claimed or delivery arranged within thirty (30) days of notification.
If remains are not claimed within this period, the Company reserves the right to lawfully and respectfully dispose of the remains without further notice.
7. Fees, Payment & Refunds
Payment is due in full prior to or at the time services are rendered unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Due to the nature of cremation services, no refunds are available once the cremation process has begun. Memorial products may be subject to manufacturer or supplier policies.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Its owner,
Employees,
Contractors,
Agents,
And representatives
shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, emotional, or special damages arising from or related to services provided.
Total liability, if any, shall be strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Paws’d In Time Animal Cremation Services LLC and its owner, agents, employees, and contractors from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
Your breach of these Terms
Misrepresentation of ownership or authority
Disputes between third parties regarding the animal
Your misuse of services or memorial products
10. No Guarantees or Warranties
Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” No guarantees or warranties, express or implied, are made beyond those required by law.
11. Privacy & Confidentiality
Client information is handled with care and used solely for service delivery, recordkeeping, and legal compliance. Information is not sold or disclosed except as required by law.
12. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any legal action arising from these Terms or services provided shall be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction within the State of Michigan.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Modifications
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time services are requested shall govern.
